Hi I'm Justin Poole

I love music, sports and being with good people. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I really love being with other people. I love to laugh, be different, and make a fool of myself. I'm a pretty active guy. I don't know how to sit still for very long. If I'm not working or doing homework I want to be out skiing, spending time with my friends, or talking with my beautiful wife. Sports are a big passion of mine. I love to play them, but I enjoy just as much watching the athletes that are far better than me while I am just a fan. My friends and my family are by far the most important things to me. What would any accomplishment be without someone there to share it with you?

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be Mormon because it makes me happy. It fills me with love for others. It gives me a desire and a drive to be better. It makes me want to go and volunteer and help others. It inspires me to obtain a good job so that someday (after poor college years) I can more fully bless the poor. I've never found that compassion in anything else I've done or tried. It's the gospel that makes me the person that I am. I don't know where I would be without the LDS church. And I can't ever imagine being without it.

How I live my faith

I do my best to learn all I can about how the Savior wants me to live my life. I pray for His help each and every day. But I believe that it's more important to go out and to live the things that you learn. I really try to care and think about others more than I think about myself. I believe that is the key to happiness in this life. Christ lived His life completely for others. His mission each day was to lift, bless, and inspire all He came in contact with.

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

Justin Poole
The Bible is the word of God and without it we probably wouldn't have the Mormon church at all, but as we can easily see there are thousands of churches that read from this one Bible and each interpret it a different way. This is the reason for so many churches today. People have disagreements on what the Bible really means, but the Bible itself teaches us that when people would disagree on something in the church that the Apostles would pray and ask Jesus Christ what should be done and Christ would make the decisions. We believe that there needed to be Apostles brought back to the earth today to do this same thing, to clear up all disagreements and to once again have Jesus Christ making the decisions for the church. The Mormon church has restored every teaching that Jesus Christ originally had in His church and we have Apostles today that ask Jesus Christ for guidance on every decision that they make for the church. Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Justin Poole
If you find something that you really like, maybe a great movie or a really good restaurant, you usually go out and tell all of your friends how great it was so that they can go and have that experience too. It's the same with Mormon's about our church. We're all pretty excited to tell you about how cool it is. Show more Show less
