Hi I'm Deny Fuhrmann

I'm a college student who loves the arts, a returned missionary, a husband, a father, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After I came home from serving a mission, I attended college but not on a serious level. While taking a hiatus and just working, I met a girl and got married. We have been blessed with children, and I love to spend time with each of my children and enjoy each of their unique personalities. I have gone back to school to obtain my degree in Community Health and Theatrical Arts, and while doing so - have been able to act on stage once more. I also love sports, other arts, and the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ knows me personally and knows what I go through. Even though I grew up knowing that I was a Mormon (or Latter-day Saint), I didn't go to church often. I had friends that helped me return and I later served a mission due to their examples. Not only it was their examples, but I found out the Gospel of Jesus Christ (from the Bible to the Book of Mormon and Doctrine & Covenants) to be true and found for myself that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God to restore His church in these latter days. I served because I felt a peace and assurance that it is true. The depression that I had battled with became an easier burden to carry, and my testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ was strengthened because I knew that He knew exactly was I go through each and every day.

How I live my faith

I am not only a home teacher to the families that I am assigned to, but I am also their friend. Getting to know your families and knowing their needs is vital for this calling, but also that they feel comfortable to call you and talk to you in time of need. I teach my fellow brethren monthly, and have been put in charge to lead others for activities for our local area. I attend the temple regularly and feel closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father while I am there and receive the inspiration of what I need to for others and also in my personal and family life.
