Hi I'm Michelle

I am an Aries, I love taking pictures of myself and my nails and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Honest, blunt and stubborn. Those are just a few words to describe me. I have been a member all my life and have loved every minute of it. I have tattoos and wear glasses. I love my nails and to do nail art in my free time. I live in Colorado which is in my opinion the most beautiful state in the whole USA. I am single and have no children. I know that one day that will change. I like to try different things like food and leisure activities. I am not as active as I should be, because staying home and watching a movie sounds way more fun than climbing a mountain that is 1,400 feet tall! I have 4 wonderful nephews and 4 wonderful sisters. I love to change my hair color and often times go a little wild with it. I usually always go back to black hair though, the color makes me feel beautiful. I carry a Book of Mormon with me everywhere I go. I like country music of the 90's more than today. I have been told I am stuck in the 90's but hey it was a good era! I really like to cruise and go to new places. Traveling has always been something I love. But I love to be the passenger, the co-pilot so I can enjoy the scenery and help out the driver. I have been to Jamaica, Cozumel, and the Grand Cayman Islands on a Caribbean cruise. I have an awesome Best friend that I have known since Senior year class of 2001 WOOH! We have matching tattoos and live over a thousand miles away but talk daily. She makes me laugh my old man laugh and I lover her for it. I love being a Mormon!!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints. I am a member because I have asked for myself to know if the teachings are true. I have felt the Holy Ghost since that day I received the laying on of hands! I love being a member it was a choice I mad at age 9 and was the most important and rewarding choice of my life. Because of the example my mother and grandfather set, I chose at a young age to become a member, and as the years past I gained a true testimony for myself of the truthfulness of this gospel and the joy it brings. Because of this joy I choose to continue in my faith and do the best I can to be the best Mormon I can be. I know that as long as I am willing and obedient to the will of The Father I will not be sorry. The church is the same no matter where you are and being a Member is the best decision in life that I have ever made. I am a Mormon because I have seen the way the gospel and living it can bless your life. I want everything that I have been promised for eternity and I will do what it takes to achieve that!

How I live my faith

I do the best I can to attend all meetings at church every Sunday. I also accept the invitations the Missionaries give me to go on lessons with them. I bare my testimony regularly and as often as I can. I have a great support group of friends and we read scriptures and share our thoughts and feelings in a group chat through texting. I meet with my bishop at least once a month so we can discuss whatever I need in my life to progress on the path. My sister and I set aside time for Family scripture reading and prayer, and we also do Family Home Evenings. I also prepare myself for General Conference by fasting and praying that the spirit speaks to me. I try to find how events in my life relate to the gospel, and I do the very best I can to see each individual as Heavenly Father sees them. I find myself liking more gospel related things on social networks and read uplifting no scripture books and magazines. I remember to say my prayers daily and partake of the sacrament each Sunday, while reflecting on the things I can improve. I always try and be grateful for the things which The Lord blesses me with, good and bad.

Why do some call Mormonism a cult?

Some people think this simply because they assume we are forced to become Mormon and do not understand the teachings. Show more Show less

What are some things that tell to you there is a God?

Things like finding the strength when you think you have none or someone calling you in a time of need when you are to scared to contact anyone. My personal favorite is praying for help and the Missionaries show up at your door or somewhere random like the parking lot of Wal-Mart Show more Show less
