Hi I'm Dale

I was raised mostly in Arizona but moved around a lot due to my father's work. I married a wonderful lady. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a website developer. A bad day of fishing is still a great day but nothing beats a day watching my grand children grow up. Family is very important to me. I raised horses for a few years and still love them and farm life in general. Ducks are some of the best entertainment God has provided us with.

Why I am a Mormon

In 1898, my great grandfather was walking home from work and heard some singing a short distance into the woods. He liked the song, so he followed the sound until he came to a small church where a small group of people were gathered for a baptism. The song they were singing is "Oh My Father", a popular Mormon hymn. He introduced himself and invited the missionaries home with him. He studied the gospel and was baptized. My great grandmother was baptized a year later. Because I am a forth generation Mormon, it is logical to believe that I am a Mormon because that is how I was raised, but that is not the whole story. To truly believe that Joseph Smith saw and heard what he said he did requires more than just learning about what happened to him. You have to want to know if it is true, and then you have to ask the only being who can actually tell you...Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I learned about it and sincerely wanted to know if it was true and then asked my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are very active and do our best to live our lives the best we know how. We observe the word of wisdom, attend church every Sunday and the temple as often as circumstances allow. We aren't perfect, but we are honestly striving to become as much like our Heavenly Father as we can.
