Hi I'm Jeffery David

I'm a Husband, I'm a Dad, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for almost 15 years. I am the father of 6 kids, 5 girls and 1 boy. I love playing most sports, including basketball, softball, football, volleyball, etc. I also enjoy coaching my children in their sport interests. My brother-in-law and I own a small roofing company that takes a lot of my time.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that I am doing what my Father in Heaven wants me to do. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed me and my family so much. Having faith that God has a plan for my life gives me hope and strength. I make so many mistakes! Just knowing that my Heavenly Father loves me and wants the best for me makes so much sense to me. I have felt the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and know that there is a prophet of God that stands as its leader.

How I live my faith

First and foremost, I am a father. I am teaching my children that they have a Heavenly Father who loves them and does want them to be happy, that they can pray to Him with their troubles and questions. We try to spend time reading the scriptures not always easy with little ones. My wife and I pray to know how we can touch the life of a struggling child. We pray to be able to get through our own trials. I work in the church to help plan and carry out meaningful activities. We plan camping trips, service projects, game nights, sporting events, dinner dates, etc. We also teach lessons on how we can be better fathers, husbands, neighbors, and sons of God. I strive to live my life as though the Lord was near me. I make mistakes, many and often. I love my Savior. How amazing it is that He came to this Earth to suffer and die so that I and my family could repent and live with Our Father again. I owe Jesus Christ so much. All that he asks is that I try to obey the commandments and come unto Him.
