Hi I'm Ben

I'm an engineer, a father of five, I live in fabulous Las Vegas and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a civil engineer, husband to a beautiful spontaneous wife, father of 5 children, and I live in fabulous Las Vegas Nevada. I attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I met my wife of 14 years. We adopted our first child, a boy, in 2004, then had four children of our own. I enjoy camping, bike riding, and gadgets of all shapes and sizes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church because I have received many answers to my own prayers. I have seen the effects of choosing to follow the example of Christ in my own life as well as the lives of others. I have also seen first hand the effects on those that choose not to follow the answers/guidance that God gives to each of his children.

How I live my faith

I have spent the last 5 years of my life serving as the Bishop of our local congregation. It has been quite a unique experience as the Las Vegas Strip is with in our ward boundaries. I have performed marriages, conducted funerals, blessed babies, performed baptisms, and helped addicts among many other things. I now spend much of my time with my family, working with the local Cub Scouts, and teaching missionary preparation lessons to young men and women that are preparing to serve full time missions.
