Hi I'm Katie

I love life! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a senior in college. I have two associates degrees, the first one I graduated with in high school, the second one I graduated with in May 2010. I am working on a bachelors of business/multimedia technology. I am also working on a bachelors of business education. I love reading books and hanging out with friends. I love being outdoors and doing anything active. I love to learn!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the LDS church is true. There is no way that I could look out my window and deny that there is a God. He is real and I can feel of Christ's and Heavenly Father's love all around me. My sister-in-law passed away about a year ago. Before she died I didn't really have a very good understanding of the gospel. When she passed away my testimony grew so much. I could have been bitter or angry that I lost a sister, but how could I when I can still feel her there. I know for a fact that I will see her again. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am on the activities committee in my ward. On this committee I help organize activities in the singles ward that are fun and exciting. I am also a visiting teacher and I visit three wonderful girls in my ward. I love my calling and I love visiting with others.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Mormons believe in eternal life because the bible and book of mormon testify of eternal life. In John 3:15 it states, "whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life." Why would God send us to earth to just die and cease to exist. I know there is a purpose to this life and that we can gain eternal life through Jesus Christ and the atonement. Show more Show less
