Hi I'm Eric

I love Sports, Skiing, playing the piano. I love life! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a single 23 year old and going strong in being a crazy, but honorable college student. I love life! What i enjoy most is building myself to be better each day. I love people! They Rock! I Love my family. I play the piano. I enjoy sports. Ultimate frisby is definitely a fun game. Being with family and friends is so cool. I enjoy learning from others , living a good Christian life, doing outdoor stuff, and working. I am a professional window washer, and a school bus driver, which by the way has been the most exciting job in my life, besides living! : I love to smile, and be happy. Helping other people is one of the greatest blessings i have ever had.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the guidance, understanding, and happiness i have recieved from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church). I love Jesus Christ. I know he is my Savior, aswell as everyone's. I have often asked myself in one way or another if there is anything else out there for me. Is there any other place of faith I need to be, and every time I have found that i feel so strongly to be a member of the this church. Which has brought me to feel the most amazing joy in my life. There are a few reasons for that. I have gained an incredible understanding of who my Savior Jesus Christ is and also of His love for all men and women and children whoever it may be. I have felt so much love from God. It is amazing. When I go to church and serve other people i feel so good. I Believe that is God telling me this is where I need to be. I have come to know that not only is this a church, but it is the only church with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ. I have found the truth. It is so cool! I have also come to know that God leads us by a living prophet; A man who does not lead us a stray, but teaches us the way that Christ wants us to go. I am so grateful to God, who is our Father, for this blessing; And it is not just for me, but anyone can feel this joy I feel.

How I live my faith

Wow! where to start? I have had so much fun helping those of my faith and those not of my faith. I believe that is What Christ taught. I just do my best every day to read the scriptures and live what I learn. I was taught by my parents, thank the Lord , to put others before myself, and to serve them. The greatest view i have seen is from seeing a brighter smile on someone who was sad, because i uplifted them in some way. The scriptures teach us that when we are in the service of our fellow men or women, we are only in the service of our God. I believe that. Serving other people has brought me closer God, and has helped me to see my life clearer and get through the difficult times i have faced. I have also had direction for life as i have read the scriptures. The words of god are more then just words on pages, i believe that it brings us closer to him, and that the scriptures can help us in our time even though they were written many years ago. I am so grateful for them.

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

This is something i am learning more of each day. Jesus Christ was asked to come to earth by God His Father. He was sent to give his life for our sins. That is what the atonement is about. It happened when our Savior was in the garden the night before his crucifixion. In the garden, He bled for us as he felt the pain and anguish of our sins, sorrows,, pains, etc... and then also felt immense pain on the cross. All for us. But why is it so important that He did this? Without Him, we could not over come our sins, or our death. Because Christ was also resurrected, or brought back to life after 3 days. We all will live again. Show more Show less

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

I know that God wants each one of us to be Baptized, mainly because it is our way of showing our commitment to him to follow Him. When Jesus Christ lived He was baptized. I know He did this to show us the way. Everyone has the chance to be baptized as each does his or her best in living God's commandments. one important part of baptism is that we make promises to God, like promising to do our best to always remember our Savior Jesus Christ, and to keep His commandments. In return our Heavenly Father will be there through out our lives to guide us. It is a very special experience. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

Families are one of the most important things we have on earth. God Gave us families so that we could learn, grow, and experience from life together. Also He wants us to be closer to Him with our families. Families are the most important place to teach. In the Home, no matter what your family situation is( whether you are a single dad or mom, a grandmother or grandfather, or you are a child with only one parent), the home is where the best raising needs to happen. I am grateful that my family has known about Christ, and His Gospel. It takes alot to grow up in this world. My life has been so blessed because of my family. They make my life important. I have found that God our Heavenly Father wants us to work as a family to become better each day. We are not 100 percent, but we get better. I love them very much. I thank the Lord for giving me my family. Show more Show less

No one is required or forced to serve a mission, although it is highly encouraged to young men, or young women, mostly because the Savior needs us to share Gospel. Show more Show less
