Hi I'm Jen

I'm a Speech Language Pathologist. I have a child with disabilities. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the South and love it! My husband and I live in Tennessee and have a great time when football season rolls around. I enjoy pilates and walking. I would love to run a marathon one day, but haven't been able to fit it in with two children under 15 months! I have a master's degree in speech language pathology and my husband is a business attorney. We were surprised when our first daughter was born with Down Syndrome. She is now the love of our lives through all of the ups and downs.

Why I am a Mormon

I love reading the New Testament and the peace and joy it brings to me when I learn about the Savior. The Book of Mormon brings me the same feelings of completeness. The Church brings my life purpose and reason. All of my questions are answered in this Church. It truly is the church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I have taught the teenage girls in church for almost four years and love it! We grow together spiritually on Sundays during our lessons, and we have a wonderful time on Wednesday nights. On Wednesday nights we provide the girls with wholesome uplifting fun. We have dances, service projects, and games.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Jen
Absolutely! If God gave us prophets before, of course He can give us prophets now. Prophets help lead us to Christ and keep us on the right path when new trials in the world arise. Show more Show less
