Hi I'm Dan

I'm a Certified Athletic Trainer, a Strength and Conditioning Specialist and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work in the field of Sports Medicine as an Athletic Trainer and a Strength Coach for a high profile High School's athletic program. I am the youngest of 12 kids, with the 3 oldest being girls and the remainder of us are all boys. I am a husband and have been for over 10 years with my amazing wife. We have a small Pug dog named Brooklyn. I thoroughly enjoy the world of Athletics, the field of medicine and being outdoors. I like to mountain bike - downhill and cross country, exercise and work with kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I had the benefit of growing up a member of the church, but as with everyone, there comes a time when you have to have your own confirmation of the truthfulness of the gospel. I have always known the gospel was true - whether it was from my own testimony or borrowed from families testimonies but it wasn't until I was teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ on a daily basis to the poeple in Las Vegas that I realized just how tue it is. Jesus is the Christ, our Savior and Redeemer and he has provided a very clear way for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father and the foundation of that path is through the organization of His church here upon the earth with which I am a part of. The Savior set up that church while he was here on this earth and has since been restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith and we continue to have revelation through modern day prophets, just like Moses, Noah, Enoch and Daniel. I know with all my heart that these things are true and correct and that is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve because of my membership in the church. I served a mission in Las Vegas, NV and spent two years throughout Las Vegas and northern Nevada teaching the gospel. I have worked as an Athletic Director, representing the ward which I lived in, establishing and running sports programs and activities for ward members to participate in. I have had the opportunity to be a counselor in the Elders Quorum presidency and for over three years I taught gospel doctrine. I recently was called to teach seminary to the high school Juniors and Seniors for the school year. I enjoy reading stories and experiences of others and also reading and learning the stories from the scriptures. I enjoy talking to others about the Mormon church and attempting to answer questions that they may have. This is how I live my faith.
