Hi I'm Teresa

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and a daughter of God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I live a very ordinary life. I am busy with raising my sons, working full time and being a good wife. I currently have two sons living at home, one son on a mission in Australia and two sons married. I recently became a grandma to a sweet granddaughter. I put off going to school for a very long time to be a stay at home mom and let my husband finish his education. When my youngest son was in school I enrolled in a community college and after 3 years I was able to complete my associates degree. I again have put my education on hold to help with the finances. I fell into a job after I graduated and am working full time. I face the normal challenges that anyone else face but with my faith and hope in Jesus Christ I find the assurance that He has a hand in my life and will always be there strengthening me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church. I know that it is true because of living the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I have a blessed life. I have prayed and struggled just as all must do to gain a knowledge of the truth of the gospel and it has been worth the fight. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who will guide us.

How I live my faith

Presently, I am the YW President in my congregation. I enjoy talking of Christ and his teachings that we have received through scriptures and prophets. I also enjoy the quiet moments at home that I can read and pray to find out answers for myself. I love that the Lord does not expect us to just believe but that we can know for ourselves by asking with a sincere heart and real intent. I believe that we have a prophet on the earth and I follow his counsel the best I can by participating in family prayer, family scripture reading and family home evenings. I also love going to the temple to feel the closeness our Heavenly Father. I am proud to be a Mormon.
