Hi I'm Christy

I'm a wife and mom. I love to walk, read, and volunteer at my kids' school. I love my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Colorado most of my life and love the beauty that surrounds me here. I graduated from Ricks College in 2000 with an associates degree. I met and married my husband, Tristan soon after. I worked as an elementary teacher assistant, specifically with special needs children, and found it really rewarding. Once we had our first child, I decided to stay at home. We now have 4 kids, ages 10, 9, 7, and 5. I love being a mom! I also really enjoy volunteering at the kids' school, walking and running with friends, and am kind of addicted to garage saling!

Why I am a Mormon

My mom, brothers, and I joined the Church when my mom met my step-dad. He was a member, and got us interested in the Church. I'm forever grateful that they met, because being a member of the Church has brought so much peace and happiness into my life. I have studied the Book of Mormon for myself and know it to be true. I have prayed and received strength, comfort, and guidance. I know from the feelings of warmth and peace within me as I pray, read the scriptures, and participate at church, that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best I can by teaching my children about the gospel. There is something so awesome about hearing a child's sincere, heartfelt prayer. I have enjoyed serving at church as well- in our Women's organization, and teaching children. I have learned and grown a lot through these experiences.
