Hi I'm Brian

I'm an American, a former US Army Reservist, and Eagle Scout and a High School Science Teacher and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a wife and twin daughters. I teach Science in Washington State. I have taught Biology, Chemisry, Physics, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Health. I am involved in the National Science Bowl competitions as well as Science Fairs. I am an Eagle Scout and have been involved in BSA off an on since I was 8 years old.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and so I have been associated with the church all my life. Every time I have questioned my membership and wondered if I should be doing something else, or just quit religion all together I have felt the guidance of my Savior gently reminding me that he is there and that I am following his teachings and his church. The Holy Ghost is a real influence in my life. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but I know what I am aiming for and I know where to find and follow God's chosen leaders on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I have been involved in working with young people for most of my church life. I served a full time mission on the island of Jamaica. I have been involved with Boy Scouts of America as a Scoutmaster, Committee Member, various assistant positions and now as a Unit Commissioner. I am currently the Clerk in my ward so I have an opportunity to help and serve everyone in the ward.
