Hi I'm Tyler

I'm married, have two amazing kids, I'm a first year dental school student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am living a very unconventional life. I am in my mid 30's and am just now starting dental school. I previously spent 6 years in the United States Air Force and was proud to serve my country. I made the decision to go back to school and pursue a career in dentistry while at the same time raising a small family. I have been married for 12 years and we have two kids, a 7 year old daughter and a 6 year old son who has an autistic spectrum disorder. My wife home schools our kids and is passionate about it. I love anything and everything that has to do with sports. I lover to play tennis and golf, and am a huge fan of baseball, golf, and football. Above all I love to spend time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. However, I had to come to a personal testimony on my own and that happened in my late teens and early 20's. I am a Mormon because I believe that the true church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and that Jesus Christ continues to lead his church through revelation to his prophets. I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon to be a true. It is impossible for me to read that book and not think that it came from God. I am a Mormon because I believe that the ancient Priesthood that was held by Moses and others has been given to man again and through that authority ordinances such as baptism can be performed. Also, through this Priesthood families can be sealed together through sacred temple ordinances that will perpetuate the relationships we have on earth.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to do a little better in being a true disciple of my savior Jesus Christ. I attend church with my family every week in order to worship together with our ward. I have recently been working with the youth in our ward as an advisor and teacher to them. I try to be an example to my children by showing them how important my faith is to me.
