Hi I'm Nick

I am a student. I do research for fun. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time college student who is majoring in Biochemistry. I love to learn about just about anything and really enjoy working with people. I love to read and just have some time to myself. I have a passion for music and love to sing and play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS family, but I am a Mormon for much more than that. I love the way that the restored gospel just makes sense, how it all fits with the teachings in the scriptures. To know that there is inspired men on earth that can lead and guide not only a whole church, but me as a person is a great comfort to me. I love knowing that the Lord can give me more guidance in my life through those leaders and through additional scripture like the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because I want to be the best that I can be. I am a Mormon because I know that this is the Lord's restored church on the earth today. I know because of prayer, and the answers that I get as I pray to my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because I know everything they teach is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith both internally and externally. Internally I make sure that I living the way that Jesus told us to by praying in reading my scriptures. Externally I live my faith through the service that I give in my community. I have always tried to do my best to serve, whether though my church home by visiting people in my youth group and helping with things they may need, or just doing things in the community like service at a library or tutoring people in school. I know that to live my faith is to do things by my faith.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

"Eternal life" doesn't just mean getting to live forever, it means that we get to live forever with God, our Heavenly Father. We believe that this is the sole purpose of life here, to return and live with our Father after learning what we are supposed to here. We want to be able to progress and learn forever and we know that it is only with God that we can continue to learn for eternity. Show more Show less
