Hi I'm Phil

I studied physics, work in IT, and love flying airplanes. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything that has to do with airplanes! I especially enjoy being a pilot. I have a wonderful wife who supports me in all I do. I'm a senior studying physics, with a minor in math. I enjoy most sports and love doing things outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I love living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to live my life the way the Jesus lived his. The Bible and the Book of Mormon give a perfect map of how to live. This brings me happiness that doesn't go away, even when life gets tough which happens often. And on the contrary, whenever I don't follow Christ, I can feel myself slipping away from Him.

How I live my faith

Like Christ did during his life, I strive to help others I see. Sometimes it comes by helping someone pick up something they dropped. Or it can even be just a smile to a stranger. I try to show my love for everyone in the actions I do.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Phil
One of the greatest teachings in the Mormon Church is that husbands and wives, parents and children, can be together forever. We don't believe that marriage should only be a temporary thing. It can, and should, last forever. For this reason, there are Mormon temples throughout the world. In temples we are married and joined together for eternity so that we can live with those we love for forever. In my opinion, there is no greater blessing than that. Show more Show less
