Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated with a BA in Communications, and am now in Telecommunications Management. Graphic design, watching sports, playing games, and family fill my spare time. I currently live in Colorado, but I've lived all over the southwest, and found many friends everywhere. My name is Sarah, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

There is no greater feeling than knowing you're loved and that you have a purpose. The gospel gives me strength to face life's trials and helps me know that I am loved by my Father in Heaven who knows me personally, and will help me on this journey. At the end of the day, my family is the most important thing to me, and what a wonderful peace the gospel brings- in knowing that no matter what happens, I can be with them forever.

How I live my faith

Although I go to church, and am involved therein, the biggest way I feel that I live my faith is in the everyday moments. By choosing to be honest, true and honorable in the choices faced on a daily basis, not only am I keeping the promises I have made, I am acting as a representative of my faith to those around me. In my industry, it is not easy to live a chaste, honest, and honorable life. It is accepted to get caught up in adultery, lies, and all manner of awful practices. But it is an opportunity for me to share the wonderful truth of the gospel- and show how it can bring peace, light, purpose, and joy to our lives.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

There are many out there that are confused and are under the impression that Mormons do not believe in the Bible. This could not be further from the truth. We read and study its teachings, most often within Sunday School at church. We revere, believe and love the Holy Bible. It is a testament of Jesus Christ, and as such, something we treasure greatly. I have heard it said that those of our faith use as substitution the "Mormon Bible"(referring to the Book of Mormon). This is also untrue. We consider both the Bible and the Book of Mormon to be doctrine, and a foundation for coming closer to the Savior by learning about him and his teachings.Haven't you ever wondered how the people of the Americas were to know about Christ; aren't they also entitled to receive word of Him? We believe they did receive revelation of Christ, and were visited by Him after His Resurrection. The record of these event are found in the Book of Mormon. This is meant as another testament of Jesus Christ from another people. Show more Show less
