Hi I'm Sharyn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married to the same man for 18 years. We have 3 children, a son who is 11, a daughter who is 9, and another daughter who is 4. I am able to work at home, so I can spend time with my kids! I love to scrapbook, make jewelry, and cards. I just LOVE being a wife and mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church my whole life. There were times as a teenager that I questioned the truthfulness of the gospel, but I always prayed and read the Book of Morrmon, and I have found out for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true! I have been very blessed by a loving Heavenly Father, and I will always be grateful to Him for that. I don't ever want to know what it feels like to not have the gospel in my life

How I live my faith

In my ward, I help with an activity for women once a month, and I have a group of women that help me with that. These activities are designed to help us learn new skills, or just gain knowledge about parenting, or the gospel. Once a month, i go and visit women in my ward, just to see how they are doing, and let them know they have a friend.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Sharyn
Anyone who wants to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints may join, regardless of race or color. We are all children of a loving Heavenly Father, and He wants us as part of His family! Show more Show less

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Sharyn
We believe that families can be together forever! We know that this life is not the end. There is life after death, and if we truly desire and want to be together forever, it will happen. This is part of our Heavenly Father's love for us! Show more Show less
