Hi I'm Jake

I'm from New Zealand, I'm a dairy farmer, I love rugby and and YES! I'm so glad I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 22 years old, working as an assistant manager on a dairy farm in Northland, New Zealand. I served a mission for the church to the Marshall Islands and returned Jan 2010. I am married to a wonder-woman and we have one beautiful baby girl. I love the gospel and am loving life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church into a great family who raised me in the church, however, i have found that even people who have grown up in the church still at one point or another have to decide for themselves whether or not it is actually TRUE!! Such was the case with me. I am a Mormon because i have studied, pondered and prayed to know if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is truly God's kingdom on earth and i have been answered many times. My testimony has been confirmed regularly and is a great source of strength to me. I love the Gospel!!!

How I live my faith

Just going through the motions doesn't work. Having a relationship with God is so important and takes faith and effort. Sincere prayer helps a lot and i find that when i put in the effort, God gives back so much! The spirit is a huge comfort and i live my faith through trying to choose the right.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Jake
We believe that the Family is a hugely important part of God's plan for us!! Living in families and living the gospel is how we learn and grow and progress toward our goal of returning to live with Heavenly Father. Families are AWESOME!!! and even though they come in different shapes and sizes, can be a huge blessing to us! We believe that we can be with our families forever - even after we die! What a cool thing to think about! Show more Show less
