Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I live in Canada with my beautiful wife. I am an aspiring Financial Analyst/ Accountant. I attend University in Calgary and enjoy spending my free time watching movies, following the NFL and playing football and rugby. I hope to own my own Investment firm one day and to raise a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church but developed a testimony of my own when I was about 15 years old. I prayed about the Book of Mormon and was answered with an experience where I felt a strong sense of enlightenment. I can't think of any reason I would feel so peaceful except I knew that Heavenly Father had answered my prayer.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints! I have found great strength through studying my scriptures regularly and praying to my Heavenly Father. I am not perfect but I try to be a good person and treat everyone with the respect I hope to be treated with.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Jordan
I believe that the Church is growing so rapidly because we do something that no other Church ever dreams of doing. We ask our members and investigators to pray and have Heavenly Father testify of the things that we teach. When people prayerfully ponder our doctrines and then ask God with singleness of heart, they will always receive answers to their prayers. So many people have, and thats why the Church continues to grow Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Jordan
Yes! We believe in Christ as zealous as any other Christian Church and we work hard to live by the teachings which Christ taught while he was on the earth. If that doesn't make us Christians, I don't know what will. Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Jordan
All of us stand in need of Jesus Christ's help and love. Because Heavenly Father has allowed us to use the ability to choose right from wrong, we all have to face the fact that sometimes we choose wrong. Jesus Christ provides us a way for each of us to repent and be forgiven each time we do something wrong. If it wasn't for Jesus Christ we would all be doomed, but because Heavenly Father loved us so much, He sent His Son to suffer and die for each of us and in so doing, He provided us with a chance for mercy. As we follow Christ's commandments and live His gospel, by having faith, repenting of our sins, being baptized, receiving the Holy Ghost and most importantly continuing to live our life in accordance to Heavenly Father's laws. I testify that we can truly find relief from the sins which we all make, from all the wrong decisions. I have felt His love, I have seen His cleansing power change my life. No one can ever change the way my Savior has made me feel. Show more Show less
