Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in Southern California. I am a mother of 3. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in a strong LDS home in Southern California. I attended BYU and received a degree in Special Education. After teaching for a couple of years, my husband and I went to Arizona for him to attend graduate school. While living in Arizona, we were blessed with 3 beautiful children. We now enjoy living in South Florida. In my spare time I like to read, play games and blog. Our extended family all lives far away, but we love to spend time with them whenever we can, even if it is just on the phone. One of the highlights for me each year is taking a trip with my mom and three sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's church restored to the earth. I know that I am happiest when I am doing what Christ taught. I am grateful that I was raised in an LDS family where I learned that I am a Child of God and that God has a plan of happiness that I can follow. Did I always have a testimony of the church? No, it developed little by little as I studied the scriptures, had spiritual experiences and was taught by the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

Living the gospel of Jesus Christ is a way of life. I would not want to live any other way. I know that Heavenly Father knows who I am and that he listens to my prayers. I know he will always help me and that if I do those things that he has asked that he will bless me with happiness and peace. The church gives me so many opportunities to help and bless others while learning and growing at the same time. I have been asked to teach the adult Sunday school class. This year we are studying the New Testament. While I am not a Bible scholar, I have a testimony that the Bible is the word of God and my knowledge of Christ and his teachings have grown as I have taught this class. The church also is such a blessing to my children and is such a support to me as I try to teach them what is right in a challenging world. The children's primary and the youth organizations help me as a parent to strengthen them as they gain their own testimonies of Christ and his teachings.
