Hi I'm Dagoberto Estevez

I love adventure, I love scuba diving , I enjoy good food, I like things that make me laugh and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am many things: A medical student, a husband, a father, advocate for patients and social justice, an adventurer, a reader, an admirer of artistical endeavors, and of course, a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I chose to be one. I have investigated many religions and beliefs and also have many friends from different religions and with different beliefs that enrich my life daily. Through personal introspection and search, I have come to have an assurance that my course is the right one for me. It brings Joy to me and my family. Everything good that has happened to me, every career opportunity I have been given, my family, and everything that I cherish most I can track to my decision to do the very best to live my faith and beliefs as a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My beliefs guide how I conduct my personal life. Although, I am by no means perfect, I try to make it part of who I am. As such, I try my hardest to make time for things of eternal importance such as daily devotion in the form of prayer or scripture study, or spending meaningful time with my family. It also fuels my drive and passion to do the very best I can for the patients I work with every day.

Who are the Mormons?

Dagoberto Estevez
Mormons? I often have friends in my country being surprised when they find out I am a Mormon. We are normal people leaving a normal life, enjoying life and working hard. We are doctors, farmers, lawyers, sports fans, or scientist like me. We do, however, try our best to live and incorporate the restored gospel teachings in our daily life. Show more Show less

Who was Joseph Smith?

Dagoberto Estevez
Joseph, Joe, or John Smith? I've been asked about al three of these names. We do believe that God called Joseph Smith as a latter-day prophet and that through him, he restored the gospel of Jesus Christ back again in the earth. God calls normal people to fulfill an extraordinary calling and do his work. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Dagoberto Estevez
It is great! We live like any regular 21rst century person (millennial in my case) would, except with an eternal perspective in mind. Show more Show less
