Hi I'm Holly

I grew up in Idaho. I’m a mom and a talent nomad. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy creating and accomplishing visible tasks with my hands. Everything from the garden and yard to, graphic design, writing and homemaking keep me busy. I travel as much as possible and have developed many wonderful relationships and friendships with people in the many places I've lived. I've been happily married since 1992 and was finally blessed to become a mother through adoption, and a surprise biological miracle after 22 years! I love old Disney movies, singing, dancing and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS family with ancestors on both sides providing me a legacy of faith in the gospel. I began developing my own testimony at a young age and have found that process to continue throughout my life. I've lived in many places, experienced much diversity and interacted with people from a variety of backgrounds. It all makes me so grateful for the knowledge of who I am, where I came from and where I'm going. I know I am a beloved daughter of Heavenly Father. I know his Son, Jesus Christ is my hero, brother, Savior and redeemer. I have felt the presence and assistance of the Holy Ghost in my daily life and can't imagine life without His influence. I know I can be with my family forever, I want to be with my family forever. I am a woman of faith and have a strong testimony of the power of prayer. I know my Father hears and answers them, I know He wants me to be happy and delights in my desire to return to live with Him. Being a Mormon isn't a just way of life, it's helped me understand the very nature and purpose of it.

How I live my faith

Love truly is the lodestar of life. I believe love is multiplied, not divided. I know the Lord blesses us through each other so I strive to keep my heart and mind open to those around me. I pray often for guidance on who may need my help and how I can provide it. Serving others is the key to loving them, and loving others is so important to my spiritual growth. I have served on local and national organizations for adoption, and helped with several community service projects. My favorite experiences have been working with youth of all ages. I've taught Poise & Confidence classes to children, teens and adults and truly enjoy sharing the knowledge I've gained on this topic. My sphere of influence may be limited, but I believe my capacity to do good is endless.
