Hi I'm Mary-Anne

I am a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an aunt and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 5 years. My husband just graduated from law school and got a job in Utah. I work from home doing data entry online. I love reading, playing the piano, being outside and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have been "Mormons" members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints their entire lives, so I was lucky to have a family who already had a great love of Christ and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ in their every day lives. I was baptized at the age of 8 and have read the Book of Mormon several times. I have always known that this Church is true I have never, ever doubted it for a second. I was adopted and was able to be sealed to my family in the Salt Lake Temple when I was about 6 months old. I was married in the Salt Lake Temple also and have a great testimony that families can be together for all eternity. I know that Jesus is the Christ and that he lives and loves me.

How I live my faith

My husband and I teach the 4 and 5 year old's every Sunday in our church. We have a class of 6 boys who are very rambunctious, but very lovable. We enjoy preparing lessons together and teaching them to the boys. It's so fun to review scripture stories and be able to share them with these eager young boys.

Are Mormons Christians?

Of course we are Christians. Our church is called The Church of Jesus CHRIST of Latter-Day Saints. Christ is the center of our religion. Show more Show less

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Temples are very sacred buildings that faithful members of our church use for religious ceremonies. We do ordinances for people who have already passed away and have not had a chance to be baptized or sealed to their families. In temples we can be sealed to our own families for time and all eternity. Faithful members can get married in the temple, also for time and all eternity, not until death do us part.
