Hi I'm Drew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Boston, MA, I have 4 brothers and 0 sisters, and I have 2 children of my own with my beautiful wife. I served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Arizona from 2003-2005. I met my beautiful wife while going to school at Brigham Young University and we got married in 2006. I graduated from BYU in 2008 with a BA in Communications: Broadcast Journalism and I hope to continue to use and improve my communication skills in my profession and personal life. My life consists mostly of spending time with my family and watching and/or playing sports. I am a huge Boston sports fan and baseball is my favorite sport...Go Red Sox!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I feel in my heart and in my mind that it's teachings are true. The church teaches correct principles that make me a better father, husband, brother, son and person in general. It is the only church with a true Prophet of God who holds His authority and acts as His mouthpiece here on Earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it contains the words of God and I know that anyone can receive that same witness if they read it and pray about it with real intent and an open heart. The Book of Mormon has helped me to gain and strengthen my testimony of Jesus Christ and because of that I know that Christ restored his church onto the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint, doing my best to treat everyone with respect, sharing my faith with those who are willing to listen and looking for opportunities to serve and help other people.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Drew
Serving a mission is not a requirement in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Members of the Church look at a mission as an opportunity to serve the Lord by helping others and teaching people about the basic principles of the gospel. Serving a mission is strongly encouraged, but it is not required. Show more Show less
