Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old. I attend School at BYU in Provo, Utah. I have been taking school slow due to other projects that I can't keep away from. I just bought my first house, and am renting it out to cover my mortgage. I like to invest. I absolutely love to ski and do anything outdoors that involves cool air in my face I like park skiing mostly - jumps, rails, pipe... I ride Park City. I currently live in provo and was actuallythe leader of the missionaries that you talk to online here at mormon.org. They are all studs and I highly recommend chatting with them and getting to know them and what they do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I love my savior and I love the great things that his true and living gospel has done for my life. I believe that if I hadn't seen the lord's hand in my life during the good and bad times, I would not be nearly as grateful nor happy as I am today. This church, the Church of Jesus Christ, has brought me to recognize where that happiness comes from. Spiritually, Emotionally, and Logically this church is true. It teaches and focuses on the simple yet powerful doctrines that make it possible for ALL people to live with God again and progress eternally with our families.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live a life as a disciple of Jesus Christ. I try daily to keep myself worthy of his blessings - keeping the commandments and helping others. I try to be social, yet respectable. I work hard to avoid alcohol, drugs, and anything addicting such as pornography in all its forms. Such things I know will distract me from accomplishing my potential as a son of God who wants me to be happy here on earth. Like said above, I help consistently with the chats on this site, and I would love to get to know anyone looking for truth in their lives and share my personal insights as they relate to our church and Christ's gospel.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

When possible, they themselves provide the money to be sent anywhere in the world to teach the gospel for 1.5 - 2 years. Many times, their parents help pay, or if the family's financial situation is tough, generous offerings are provided by other members of the church. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

The family is the central unit and system God has set up for his children to become the best they can be. The lives of successful and happy individuals are usually a product of love and consistency in their family as they grew up. Show more Show less
