Hi I'm Lisa

I love my family, friends and playing volleyball, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a mother of 6 and grandmother of 4, with one on the way. I've spent my life caring for my family and serving in the church. Besides spending time with family and friends I love playing volleyball, vacationing, fishing and reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned that by living the gospel, and following the living prophet, my life is full of peace and joy. I love reading the scriptures and have found personal guidance and direction for my life in their pages. I feel the spirit of the Lord as I attend church meetings, pray and read the scriptures and could not imagine my life without the comfort and blessings that come from my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I have served in the church throughout my life. I have worked in the women's organization, the children's organization, as well as with the youth and young adults. I also serve as secretary to our high school orchestra's booster organization and love working with good people of all faiths.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

I love associating with the women in the church. They are loving, giving, hard-working women who are devoted to their families and to serving the Lord. I find the men in the church have great respect for the women and appreciate all we do as we work together to serve the Lord, each other and all who need our help. Show more Show less
