Hi I'm Phil

I have lived in Idaho, Indiana, New Jersey, Georgia, and Utah and I'm a Mormon

About Me

Just graduated with a degree in Healthcare Administration. I have been married for 3 years and we have our first kid on the way and we just found out that it is going to be a boy! I have lived on the east coast and the west coast and some places in between. I enjoy watching football and basketball and playing basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was in her twenties and she had me when she was in her thirties. While raising me she taught me about Jesus Christ and about the importance of why we are here and where we are going. Her testimony carried me through while I was young. I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ by reading the scriptures and words of the living prophets over and over again. Each time I read them I am filled with a sense of peace and a sense of belonging to something bigger than myself. I know that God loves each and everyone of His children, I know that he lets us go through trials that we might become more like him and gain the experience that we need. I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that he restored what was once lost to the world. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet, if you don't believe me, listen to him.

How I live my faith

I have worked in administrative functions for the church, basically the paperwork part of the church. One thing unique about the church is that everything that is done is spiritual and increases a persons testimony. Even paperwork can increase your testimony of the truthfulness of the church.

In whom should we have faith?

Faith is a belief God will hear and answer our prayers, and that even though we might not get the answer we want, we get the answer that is best for us. Show more Show less
