Hi I'm Kerrie

I'm a New Orleans girl and a stay at home mom with a degree. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my husband for 9 years. We have three crazy, but amazing children. Our life isn't glamerous or exciting. We don't have a lot of money to send our kids to private schools, go on fancy vacations or a nice, big house. We're not the most intelligent of sophisticated people. But we have everything we need and we are very happy. I grew up Mormon in the New Orleans area which definitely had it's challenges. I have a college degree, but my husband and I have decided that the best thing for our family was for me to stay at home with our children. I'm not the perfect homemaker I would like to be, but I wouldn't want to do any other thing than be home with my kids. As frustrating as it can be, my children also bring so much joy in my life. I homeschool but mostly for educational reasons. If we lived in a better school district I would reconsider sending my kids to public school. I hate couponing, but I do it a little. I'm no where near and extreme couponer. I do love finding other ways to be more frugal though.

Why I am a Mormon

I find comfort in the fact that my Heavenly Father hasn't left me to figure out everything on my own. He has prophets on the earth today to guide his children in a world that is always changing. We don't have to guess what he wants.

How I live my faith

I serve with the youth girls at our church. I love working with them and try to leave a positive influence on their lives.
