Hi I'm Camille Anne

I'm currently a busy pre-nursing student but my passion is dance. All types. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a busy nursing student but my passion is the arts. I am a member of my university's touring dance team - I've been to Russia and the Pacific Northwest with them. It was amazing! I also love to sing, play the piano, blog, cook, and study. Yes, I love a good homework session!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but the "why" behind why I am Mormon goes much deeper. I have learned for myself through MUCH study and prayer that I have a unique yet personal relationship with my Savior. He lifts me, strengthens me, and guides me in all of my undertakings each and everyday. It is through his grace and power that I have been able to accomplish all that I have in my short life. And is also through him that I have overcome the trials and heartache that mortality provides. This knowledge has gradually grown to a sure and strong testimony that the Lord wants us to be happy. And his gospel brings me the greatest happiness possible. How grateful I am for that simple truth!

How I live my faith

I am currently a member of a student ward at my college. I most recently served as a leader in the women's organization of the church. This calling was so BUSY but such a blessing! I truly developed a great and sincere love for the women that I served. And each and every day I felt of our Heavenly Father's love for each of them as well.

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Camille Anne
To me these Mormon customs are simply a way I have chosen to live my life to help me come closer to my Father in Heaven. We dress modestly, but this doesn't necessarily mean that we are boring in our dress. Believe me, I have some great Mormon friends with impeccable style. Some are classy, some are more retro. But each is modest in her dress. Being modest helps us remember that we are children of a loving Father in Heaven, and our bodies are sacred and precious gifts. We celebrate most holidays, but my personal favorites are Thanksgiving and Christmas because they include food and family! It doesn't get much better than that! Spending time with family is one of my favorite things about holidays. I'm so grateful that the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the knowledge that I can be with them forever if I live righteously.
