Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon. I joined the church in my late teens in Germany. I have been an active Mormon most of my adult life.

About Me

I am a father of three children with a fourth child on the way. My wife and I have been married for thirteen years. Professionally I am an attorney in private practice. Also, I am a US Navy Veteran. I grew up in Germany.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because God has personally affirmed and continues to reaffirm that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is his church restored to the earth as it was originally constituted when Jesus Christ roamed the earth over two thousand years ago. Most importantly this means that with God's true church restored to the earth, the priesthood of God has been restored to the earth again. This then means that all rites and ordinances performed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are sanctioned by God and have full force and efficacy beyond this life. For example, my wife and I were not married only according to the law's of man, until death do us part, but for time and all eternity because we were sealed by a man holding the priesthood of God in one of God's temples on earth. The assurance and perspective this gives is invaluable to me. It is wonderful to know that God lives and that he communicates with me personally and that as I do my part within God's plan of salvation for man, that I am entitled to receive all that he can bless me with, which is immortality and eternal life in his presence. Is there anything more promising or motivating than this?

How I live my faith

I try to daily live with integrity toward God and all men because I firmly believe that I am accountable for all of my thoughts and actions to God.
