Hi I'm Jordan

I love to play sports, camp, sing, and spend time with my family. Im a college student. I speak Spanish and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been an huge sports fan for as long as I can remember and have spent a lot of time over the years either watching or playing them, especially football. My family is very important to me and even though I am a college student and living far away from them, we are still able to remain very close. I have spent the last few years living in central Mexico where I learned Spanish and acquired a taste for spicy food and a greater appreciation for tortillas!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that was already very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was taught to go to church every week, but I have now made my own decision to remain active in this church. I love the standards that the church asks its members to maintain. I know that they make me a happier person and that they are ultimately for my safety. I also have prayed and discovered for myself that this church is true and that it comes from God. I love my Father in Heaven and want to do all that I can to make him proud of me.

How I live my faith

To me living my faith is all about the example that I can be to others. A large part of being a christian is about serving other people, whether they be family friends or strangers. There are very few things that bring me as much joy as when I know that I have made a difference in someone else's life. One of my favorite things to do at church is teach, but recently I have focused more on helping those around me who are not familiar with the Mormon church, learn more about it, and increase the faith that they already have in Jesus Christ.
