Hi I'm Mary

Life is Good as Wife, Mother, Sister, Friend, Nurse, Humanitarian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

"A life of purpose is the purpose of life." My husband and I have six children, three are his and three are mine. There are two of each age. We relate well to the Brady Bunch, have been married for 21 years and going strong. There are 15 grandchildren, life is never dull. He is a Family Practice Physician and I am a Registered Nurse. We work hard and try to find time to play hard. We also serve as Part Time Missionaries and travel to South America regularly to teach Newborn Resuscitation.

Why I am a Mormon

I was a convert to the Church when I was 19 years old. The Missionaries taught me the lessons and I knew that the things they taught were true. I have never doubted the decision and continue to learn and grow in the Gospel.

How I live my faith

There have been many opportunities to serve and I have enjoyed and learned from all of them. Teaching in the youth programs, girls camp, assisting in Nursing Home programs and now teaching Medical People in Latin America have given us many different ways to serve in the Church. "Because I have been given much I too must give" are the words to a song that rings true.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

In our calling to teach in Latin America we are asked to not proselyte or teach others about our Church. What we do is a gift to the world with no expectations or strings attached. We serve all regardless of race or religion. If someone asks us questions about our Church we will refer them to the Local Church leaders or the Missionaries. Show more Show less
