Hi I'm Nathaniel

Im a biology major. Im a frisbee player, and i'm a mormon

About Me

I was born into a Latter Day saint family in Phoenix Arizona. Im the youngest of 7 kids. I Have 5 brothers and 1 sister. I love sports and being active. I enoy the great outdoors and good food off a grill. I graduated high school and then went to college studying political science. Currently I am a missionary serving in the minnesota minneapolis mission. Everything that is good in my life has come because of faith in Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon for a lot of reasons. Probably the biggest is because it provides a sure foundation in such a confusing and ever changing world. I am mormon because it gives me direction in my life. Being mormon gives me answers to questions like "why am i here?", "where did i come from?", and "what happens after we die?". I am mormon because I have pondered and prayed about everything I have heard and read about the doctrines and teachings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I know that they are true, and truth is something that we need in today's world. It is a bold claim, but i know that this is Christ literal Church on the Earth, with all of its complete doctrine and principalities in one place. I would love for you to challange that. See if im wrong! Pick up a copy of the Book Of Mormon. Read it. Ask God if its true. He will answer you. Thats what i did.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is a principle of faith. Being mormon can sound like a pretty hard thing. 3 hours of church on sundays, A strict law of health to live by, abstinence before marriage, and a lot more. But all of these things truly bless my life. I live my faith on my sleeve. I hope for people to be able to say "there is something different about him" because of the way i live my life. I love talking, answering and sharing these amazing truths with anyone i meet. I live my faith by trying to be an example of Christ, and follow his teachings to the fullest i can, and whatever weakness i may face and shortcomings come up, He can and will help me overcome. Currently I am an intructor for the men's group in my local ward. Its also known as an Elders Quorum teacher. Each sunday i teach a lesson on a given subject to these men. We discuss how this can apply in our daily lives and then we strive to apply it. I love it!

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Nathaniel
You can learn more about the mormon church, by attending it. Experiencing it is the most important and essential thing in finding out more about the church. If you were looking to find the best flavor of ice cream in the world you wouldn't get very far by just reading the ingridients. You have to taste it. By going to church, you will also find someone to talk to about the church. It will be a great experience for you, I promise. Show more Show less
