Hi I'm Nicki

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of four kids ages 5, 4, 3, and 6 months. In what little free time I have, I like to swim, bike, run, read, and be with my family and friends. I graduated a few years back from BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

Because the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me the strength that I need to become closer to my Savior and be the kind of person that I would like to be. Christ helps me be a better mom, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

How I live my faith

I help to organize activities for the women in our church. We learn basic skills to allow us to be better in our roles as women. We have learned everything from how to save using coupons, to exercise and fitness, to appreciating the arts.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Nicki
I think Mormons share many of the same values as other Christian churches. We observe some laws regarding our diet. We pay tithing as mentioned in scripture. We observe the Sabbath Day. We encourage modesty and morality, especially among our youth. We have a strong focus on the family. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Nicki
No. Mormons often start by helping each other. However, the church serves in Humanitarian Aid projects throughout the world. Individual members are encouraged to serve their friends and neighbors within their communities. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Nicki
Yes, I do. My children sing a song called "Follow the Prophet". It is about past prophets and the people who followed/did not follow them as well as the consequences. I believe that President Monson, our current prophet, like Moses, can be led my the Lord to guide us to happiness in this life and in the life to come. Show more Show less
