Hi I'm Allison

I'm an archaeologist. I love to work hard, create things and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Allison. I am getting my PhD in archaeology. I love books, travel, and design. I love making something from nothing, burying myself in a warm pile of fresh laundry, and watching the stars. I love discovering about people from the past whether it be from history books or finding what they left behind in the ground. I love being in the middle of nowhere or underwater where I can be alone and be amazed by God's creations. I especially love my family and want to be with them forever.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I can't imagine a life without the wonderful blessings that the gospel provides. My Father in Heaven loves me. I love Him and want to be with Him again more than anything. I also want to be with my family, past and present, forever. The principles taught in the gospel make that possible. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Every week I try to attend church meetings, wherever in the world I may be. I try to live the principles of the gospel by serving those in my ward and community, as well as doing family history work for my family who have already passed. Most importantly I read my scriptures and pray, trying everyday to strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father and express gratitude for the opportunities and blessings in my life.
