Hi I'm Mark.

I'm a Mormon medical student.

About Me

I'm currently a medical student in NC and learning how to balance school and family and life. I'm a big fan of Roald Dahl, the Economist, Netflix, Jeeves and Wooster, the Office, and a bunch of other stuff.

Why I am a Mormon

I started out as a Mormon, my family is super active. I've found my own reasons as I've gotten older.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every week and teaching Sunday school to some of the younger children.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

That's really a tough question to answer because Mormons are so different across the world. Some things that would stand out though would be the emphasis on family. Family always comes first in Mormon life. We have an evening every week where every member of the family comes together to spend time with each other. We play games, plan the week, talk about principles and values in Christ's gospel that are important to us, and then usually have some treat afterwards. We don't drink, and that kind of makes us different. Sunday is also set apart as a day to not work or go out to have a good time. We spend that day with family and at church. But most other days in most other activities, Mormons are your average, every day people. Show more Show less
