Hi I'm Scott

I am a husband, father, architect, martial artist, sports enthusiast, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Arizona and love the heat. I am an architect and can't get enough sports in my life. I love my wife and kids and have fun with them any chance I get. During what free time I get, I practice martial arts. I was born to parents in the church and have been a member all of my life. I know God loves me and I try to show that in how I treat others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and always believed in it. I didn't fully believe until I was in my late teens and for the first time read the Book of Mormon on my own. I believed it was from God and read it every night. Nearing the end of the book I read a promise given by the last prophet to write in the book letting us all know that God will make it known unto us to know that the Book of Mormon is from him and I prayed that night with as much faith as I could muster. I felt amazing and believe I even heard a voice in my mind saying, "You know this is from Me. I have been telling you every night while you read. Haven't you felt it?" The feeling was so wonderful; I have a hard time describing it. I have had other times in my life that God has let me know that this is His church. I am so happy to know what he has planned for me, both here and after this life that I feel that is my privilege to be a member of His church. I love it and feel God's love so often when I do what He asks.

How I live my faith

Currently I am help teach and lead the men in my ward (our congregation). I love being able to meet so many wonderful people and families. I enjoy being a help to others and try to do it any chance I get. I help organize fun activities for the adults to get to know each other better. I get the chance to visit with nearly everyone in our ward. While only being one of two Mormons at work, I get a chance nearly everyday to share my beliefs in simple ways.
