Hi I'm Brock

I love people and I love life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, a father, and a student. I love music and have been known to bust out in spontaneous dance.

Why I am a Mormon

I love light and don't like the dark. I have never felt without light as long as I follow the standards taught, and I can understand them by that same light. Even on those occasions when the light may feel dim, I can return to the light again. Being a "Mormon" makes me feel warm, fresh, and happy - the same as when I bask in the sun's light!

How I live my faith

I get to teach a class for newer members or those investigating the church. I love the questions and the growth I see from them. I also love to remind myself of the elementary principles of the gospel. God lives, Christ is my savior, we have the restored gospel - that same gospel that Christ taught - on the earth today, we have a living prophet, and revelation continues!

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Without the atonement of Christ, we cannot return to our Father's presence, but knowing and accepting alone, is not enough. Rather we must align our will to his will and do as Christ did. Grace requires action. Action by each of us to grow and accept Christ. Grace makes up the difference - after all that we can do. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families are so very important and necessary for happiness in this life and the next. I am a child of God!  Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

You may not be able to tell the difference between a neighbor who is Mormon and one who is not based on lifestyle alone. I enjoy sports, playing with my children, work, walking the dog, attending concerts, watching movies, and everything else that most people enjoy. The only thing that you may notice that doesn't necessarily paint me as a Mormon, I try to keep my language appropriate and professional, I like to have friends over, and I don't make personal decisions by trends or popularity. More than likely this description fits you. My lifestyle may not be distinguishable from yours. Show more Show less
