Hi I'm Nad Gilbert

I believe in Christ

About Me

I served a mission in Puerto Rico. I am happily married with 3 children. I'm an electrical engineer. I design integrated circuits, the little black packages in all of you electronic devices. I love to mountain bike, rock climb, go on hikes, compose music with my keyboard, go to the temple, teach any class any age at church, and spend time with the family.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God called to restore the church of Jesus Christ to the earth. The Spirit has born testimony to me that the doctrines of the Church are true.

How I live my faith

We have family home evening every Monday night. We sing songs, say prayers and teach each other the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a wonderful experience.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Nad Gilbert
As an engineer I perform many experiments to test my theories. These experiments use what is know as the scientific method. You have a theory, design an experiment to test the theory, and interpret the result to determine if you theory is correct. In the LDS church, members and investigators are invited to perform an experiment. It’s an experiment of Faith. You are given teachings of the church, invited to pray to ask God if what you have been taught is true, and the Spirit will teach you it is true. When you can interpret the answers to your prayers as God really speaking to you telling you what you are being taught is true, your experiment is a success. The Spirit usually speaks to our souls with unmistakable feelings of love, peace, warmth, and tenderness. I know the teachings of the church are true because I have tried this experiment and it worked!  Show more Show less
