Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Minnesotan. I'm a techie. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and father of four. I've lived my whole life in Minnesota with the exception of the two years I served as a Mormon missionary in northern Virginia '93-'94 and a four-year stint in the US Air Force. I work in information technology as a UNIX administrator--and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in this faith, though I've learned through my teen and adult years that their faith was not handed to me like a baton. I have come to my own testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the spirit of joy I feel as I try to live how He wants me to is a basis of my testimony.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live the teachings of Christ in my daily life be it at work, home or in my community. I participate in my local LDS church unit as a counselor (or assistant) to our ward's leader, the Bishop, as well as visit a couple families a month in the church's home teaching program. Its a privilege to spend time in church service, and I enjoy it very much.
