Hi I'm Dee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. I love living in the Northwest. I also like to read, sew, and just being a homemaker. Most of my grand kids are teenagers or young adults and I love being around them and being part of their activities. My major in college was Drama and I love to direct productions. It is kind of like an artist painting a picture.only we use actors, sets, costumes lighting to achieve the picture we want.

Why I am a Mormon

My Church history is: I was raised in an active LDS home and taught the gospel from an early age. I loved the Book of Mormon stories my Dad would tell to me. However there came a time in my life that I needed to form my own testimony and not relay on my Dad and Mom's. So I made a decision to find out for myself. I fervently read the Book of Mormon and then studied the verse in the the last book , Moroni 10:4 that promised me if I would pray "with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Jesus Christ, that he will manifest of it (meaning the Book of Mormon) the truth" of it unto me. I did that, prayed with all my heart about the truthfullness of the book. I had an answer to me pray and KNEW that this Book was sent from God and was another witness of the Bible and if I lived by its precepts I would have a happier live.

How I live my faith

I am now in my 70"s and have followed that counsel all my life. I have taught many classes in the church, especially the youth, about the B of M and have studied it extensively and still have a very firm conviction of the truth fullness of this book. I urge all to give it a try.
