Hi I'm Tiffany.

I'm a foster mother and an adoptive mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home foster mother/adoptive mother who loves kids! I have 2 children and would love to have more! I love being creative with anything I can. I graduated from college with a degree in Psychology which I am definitely using now as a foster mother!. I taught English in Russia and loved every minute of it while I was in college! I love going to new restaurants and trying new cuisines from around the world. I love to bake and cook as well! I love trying out new things! Most of all, I love to serve and am happy to help others in any way I can!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents introduced me to the gospel when I was born. However, I have had to decide for myself that it is true. Little by little, I came to know for myself that all the things that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches is the truth. I feel it in my heart. I know the gospel is true! I know that Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ and was called by them to restore the truth of Jesus' teachings to the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it. I have asked God about it through prayer and He has spoken to me in my mind and in my heart that it is true. I know there is a living prophet on the earth today that leads us just like Adam, Moses, or Abraham in biblical times did. I am grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who makes it possible for us to be with our families eternally! I know Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that He suffered and was resurrected so that I might be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father if I follow Him. Thanks be to God for the wonderful gift that He gave us of His Son!

How I live my faith

I live it every day by being an example to others and by trying to be kind to my family and help them understand why the gospel is so important to me. I try to teach them to pray and to rely on their Heavenly Father. I also help out in the youth program with the young women at my church. It is so much fun to do activities with them and teach them lessons about the Savior and His gospel. I also visit other women of my faith to help them with the things that they might need help with.

Is it true that Jesus appeared in North America after his crucifixion and resurrection according to the Book of Mormon?

Yes! It really is true! Jesus did appear to the people of North America after his crucifixion and resurrection. God loves every person no matter where they live. He wants each and every one of us to know how to return to live with Him. So, He sent His Son to make sure that people all over the earth would know what they have to do to be able to return to live with Him one day. We all have to do the same things in order to return to live with Him so He sent His Son Jesus Christ to make sure that the people of the earth all knew the same things. To do this, He had to send His Son to many different people and not just to one location because the methods of communication were rudimentary and not as advanced as they are today. If you are familiar with biblical teachings, you may recall that Jesus Christ spoke to the Jews in Jerusalem of "other sheep" that He had which were "not of this fold" that He must also bring. Through the Book of Mormon, we know that Jesus Christ had other people around the world who were followers of Him. They also needed to be instructed by Jesus Christ as to how they were to follow Him and be able to return to live with Him and our Father in Heaven. Thanks be to God for His love for all of His children! Show more Show less
