Hi I'm Kelsie

I'm a new mom!

About Me

I am a brand new mom and my little son was born early and spent time in the NICU. I have been married to the most wonderful husband for over a year now, graduated from college in Landscape design, and I love to quilt, read, cook and watch the Food Network!

Why I am a Mormon

I want to be happy, which is why I love being a Mormon! Through the gospel of Jesus Christ I have learned... and am continuing to learn how to become more like my Savior, and how to trust fully in Him and our Heavenly Father. I know that God does all things for our good and so that we can learn more about Him and how to receive the joy He feels. Even though there are many hard things that happen, I know that I can stay positive and peaceful through it all as I remember that Jesus Christ has suffered everything and has done it so that I won't have to!

How I live my faith

I try my best to give and receive love! On Sundays I teach the adult gospel doctrine Sunday school class and we're studying the Old Testament right now. I love working with so many wonderful adults in our community and learning from them and their experiences and how it relates to the scriptures and how they have learned how to apply the scriptures to our daily and modern lives. I also love cooking meals if anyone needs an extra help during a difficult time, and I just love talking and keeping in touch with the ladies in our community.. going to lunch, or just being up to date on whats going on with their lives and families!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

For me, when I experience hard things it helps me feel more teachable and more ready to listen and feel to know my Father in Heaven. I have come to know Him through the peace I feel when all seems so hectic, and through the beauty in the world that we live in! Show more Show less
