Hi I'm Kacee

I'm a full-time student and a full-time Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing! In fact, I'm going into my third year as a music major with an emphasis in vocal performance, and I really enjoy school. I have a wonderful family and great friends who support me in everything I do. I find joy in the living the gospel of Jesus Christ, and life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a child of my Heavenly Father. He loves me and has a plan for my life. Jesus Christ lived and died and lives again. He is the Savior of the World. He will take away my sins and sorrows if I give them to him. My Father in Heaven has given me the answers to all of my questions through this gospel. I can hear the Prophet of God speak the words of the Lord. I can read God's word in the scriptures. I can pray for guidance and strength, and receive answers to my prayers. I know that God is loving and knows each of His children by name, and I know that He will never leave us alone. I have learned these truths as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I have felt the Spirit of God testify to me that I have a purpose in this world. I love my Heavenly Father and want to return to live with Him someday, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I strive everyday to live up to the standards of the Church and the standards I have set for myself. I know that by making righteous choices and living a good life, I will be happier and more able to serve God in whatever way He needs me.

What is faith?

Kacee
To quote the Bible, "...faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." *Hebrews 11:1* To me, faith is a belief in and a knowledge of the truth and, most importantly, an assurance of the reality of our Savior Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus Christ is the first principle of the gospel, hence the name The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Faith requires action, and my faith grows as I make righteous decisions and share my hope which "cometh of faith" *Ether 12:4* with others. In the Book of Mormon, Alma teaches that "faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." *Alma 32:21* I'm grateful for my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. It strengthens me and gives me hope, for I know "that without faith, *I* can do nothing." *Doctrine and Covenants 8:10* Show more Show less
