Hi I'm Craig

I'm a father/husband, I'm a PR practitioner and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 25 years old and just graduated from Brigham Young University. I speak fluent Spanish and lived in Guatemala for two years. I have a wonderful wife and daughter. We enjoy watching movies, playing games and just being together. I was born in Texas, raised in Missouri and am currently living in California. Although Cali is nice, I'd rather be in Missouri.

Why I am a Mormon

I prayed once to ask God if the Mormon church was the true church. I got an answer. I know that this is where God wants me to be and these are the things He wants me to be doing. I'm not perfect, but the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ help me to be closer to God. At the end of the day, it gives me a feeling of peace and happiness. There is no better feeling of happiness than knowing that you are doing what God expects you to do and that you are doing OK in His eyes.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, but that's just part of it. Being a member of Christ's church, to me, means a whole life-style not just going once a week to church. I always strive to be obedient to all the commandments--I've yet to live them all. However, every day I get a bit closer to that goal. I try to love my neighbors and do good to everyone I am in contact with. I read from the Bible and Book of Mormon daily and try to apply the principles to my life. It may sound like a lot of work, but really it's easy and makes you happier. I'm a better person because of my faith, and I know that each day my faith will make me even better.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

By the grace of Jesus Christ we are saved. Only through Jesus Christ can we return to live with our Heavenly Father, God. In return, Jesus asks us to do certain things so that we can partake of His grace. In the scriptures we learn that we must have faith, repent, be baptized, receive the Holy Ghost, and then endure to the end. If we do these things then His grace is sufficient for us and we can be saved through his merits. Grace is a wonderful thing, but we have to do our part too. Show more Show less
