Hi I'm Angela Villa

I am a mom of 4 girls, a musician, an athlete, a mompranuer and a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the Church. I was raised in a home of all boys. My family took both singing and basketball very seriously. I earned a basketball scholarship to BYU. While there, I traveled the country and grew a strong testimony. I am also an accomplished singer. Music fills my soul and makes me happy. I met my husband and eternal companion while working at Disneyland. He was not a member before he met me. As soon as I introduced him to the church he knew it was the truth and where he wanted to be. We have 5 beautiful girls and we love being parents. I love working with children. Because of this passion, I teach and coach kids as often as I can. I am a volunteer cheer and basketball coach within the community. I try to keep up with my music as much as I can. My family is my world and I adore them. I love life and I plan on living it to the happiest!

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and of his atonement. I know that through him and only him I can have an eternal family. I know that I am here on this earth for a specific purpose and that my Father in Heaven has a plan for us all. We are not just wandering souls, if we choose to follow his plan we can be like him.

How I live my faith

For me, I live my faith each and every minute of each and every day. Religion is not just a Sunday event. The gospel fills my life and I live the gospel. I serve the community by volunteering my time and talents to programs inside and outside the church. I believe that services is the way to happiness. When I am in the service of my fellow man, I am in the service of my God. I am a Relief Society teacher and I love it. Having to teach the principles of the gospel to others encourages me to study the gospel daily so that I can teach according the the spirit. I raise my children in a home filled with the gospel and we try to keep the spirit constant in our home. I know that I am a co-creator with God and that my children are on loan to me. I need to raise them up in the gospel of the Lord so that they too can fill their mission here on earth.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Angela Villa
My husband is a worthy priesthood holder. He is my eternal companion and the father of my children. He leads with the spirit and provides support to me in the raising up of our children. He works hard to support our growing family and we are blessed that he earns enough for me to stay at home with our 5 girls. My husband is my provider and my protector. I am a mother, a Domestic Engineer if you will. As a mother I am responsible for the raising my little girls up in righteousness. As a wife I support my husband and together we strive for exaltation. Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Angela Villa
The law of tithing existed in the primitive church. This same law was restored on earth for the saints of today. It is a privilege to pay a tithe, it is how we can show our thanks to God for all our many blessings. He blesses our lives with so much and all he asks is ten percent of our earnings. Tithing from the members helps to further the work of the lord here on the earth. We learn and grow so much by paying our tithing and trusting that the lord will provide Show more Show less
