Hi I'm Treasure

I'm a mother, a stepmother, and a grandmother. I love to sing. I work in a warehouse, and garden. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've worked in retail, manufacturing, and ran a day care. I like keeping in touch with old friends and family. I love to sing, even though the years have changed my ability to do it well. Home improvment projects fill much of our time. I have 4 children, 3 step children and 5 grandchildren. I have 3 siblings. My parents still live in the home where I was raised in a large city.

Why I am a Mormon

From a young age, I felt drawn to religion. In another church, many questions I had could not be answered. I was told they were "mysteries". When I encountered a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in junior high, I found that there were answers. They taught me about the Godhead and it was exactly what I had believed in my heart my whole life. I was comforted to know that infants did not need baptism to be permitted into heaven. It was exciting to hear how families could be together forever. Ultimately, I learned about the Book of Mormon and I prayed to know if all these things were true. I could not deny the answer I received -confirming to my mind and soul that they were indeed true. My family was supportive in my desire to be baptized, and the Church has been a strength to me, especially in trials and hard times. One of my siblings was baptized later, but is the only other member from my birth family. I am grateful eveyday to know that my Heavenly Father is mindful of me as an indiviual.

How I live my faith

I have been very involved in the women's auxilary. I have taught most ages in Sunday School. I visit with other women to see how they're doing and to discuss gospel principles.
