Hi I'm Kevin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in the Midwest for the last 15 years after having spent most of my life as a Navy "Brat" and as a Naval Officer. Even though I was born in New Jersey, I have lived in Ohio more than any of the other 9 states I have lived in. As a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and a resident of Ohio, I consider myself a "Buckeye." Three of my five kids have been born here. Ohio is my home and where I love to live.

Why I am a Mormon

I was just a few years old when my parents were converted to the church. Hence, I have been a Mormon most of my life and have been raised in the church. Just like Christ and the Apostle Paul taught in the New Testament to prove everything and keep that which is good, I have gained a testimony of this church by reading the Book of Mormon and asking Heavenly Father if it is a true book. Each of us have this right if we lack wisdom and desire to know the truth.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving in our local Ward (congregation) as the 1st Counselor to our Bishop. My main responsibility is with the youth age 12-18. Even with all the problems in the world, Heavenly Father has reserved some of His most reliable to the end days. i love my calling to serve.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Kevin
We need to learn more about Christ's life and read his teachings. As Christ taught in the Book of John, there were other sheep he had to teach and they had to hear his voice. The Book of Mormon contains the visit of Christ to his other sheep. You can read his words and his teachings which mirror those in the Bible. This will help your faith in Christ grow that he is the Savior of the world... Show more Show less
