Hi I'm Mark Stewart

I am a husband, father of 3 daughters, was born and raised in Las Vegas, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I spent a lot of time on my grandfather's horse ranch as a child and learned how to work hard and ride horses. I enjoyed playing sports in high school; particularly volleyball, soccer, and basketball. I then served for 2 years in the North Chile Santiago Mission, learned to speak Spanish, and loved the Chilean people and culture. I then graduated from BYU in Provo, Utah with a Masters in Accounting and was hired by a national accounting firm in Las Vegas. While at BYU I met my sweet wife, Aubrey, and we together have 3 daughters who have turned me into a softy. We together as a family enjoy visiting the Stewart cabin in the mountains, camping, soccer, swimming at Grandma’s, storytelling, and being active in our Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by great parents who taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ. When it came time for me to find out for myself if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was true and if Joseph Smith was indeed a prophet of God – I began to seriously read the Book of Mormon. I asked my Heavenly Father in sincere prayer if the Book of Mormon was His word, was the truth, and was translated through His power by the prophet Joseph Smith. After some time of reading, pondering, and praying – I received an unmistakable answer and feeling that these things were true. The Church has been my rock and my salvation. I am grateful for the direction and purpose it has provided for my life and in the lives of my family. I attribute all of my blessing and the happiness that I now enjoy to my membership in the Lord’s Church and the knowledge of the fullness of His gospel.

How I live my faith

My family and I attend and serve in our Church. We love to provide service to others and try to follow the example of the Savior. We spend time together as a family and have fun activities. We teach our children to live according to principles and standards with a strong love for the Savior.
